Monday, August 8, 2011 – The day started off completely cloudless with the usual white hazy sky. Evidence of aerosol spraying first appeared in the morning northeast of the Salton Sea in Riverside County. Jet planes left thin silvery white contrail lines behind that quickly expanded and filled the sky. These persistent jet trails could be seen from 50-80 miles away as they expand enough to fill the sky with cloud cover.
